Cash for Ticket: Congress demands graft case against Minsiter Malla Reddy

Hyderabad, January 19: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Spokesperson Dr. Dasoju Sravan on Sunday demanded that a case of corruption be registered against Labour Minister Ch. Malla Reddy who allegedly collected crores of rupees from aspirants to give TRS party tickets for municipal elections. He also demanded that Malla Reddy be sacked from cabinet with immediate effect.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, Dr. Sravan played out some audio clips which went viral on social media which suggests that Malla Reddy and his close relatives asked for huge money to give TRS party tickets. He said the audio clip was of a telephonic conversation between Malla Reddy and son-in-law Rajshekhar Reddy who alleged demanded aspirants to pay lakhs of rupees to get TRS ticket for municipal elections. Asking whether seeking money to give party ticket was not corruption, he demanded the Anti-Corruption Bureau to register a suo motto case against the minister and his relatives. He said some aspirants have also spoken to media accusing the minister of demanding huge amounts. He said when ACB could arrests employees for demanding money, why was it silent when a similar crime was allegedly being committed by a minister?

Sravan demanded a high level enquiry into the allegations and stern action against the minister. He said that the Congress party would lodge a formal complaint with the police and the Election Commission in this regard. He reminded that Chief Minister K.Chandrashehar Rao had announced in the past that he would not spare anyone who indulges in corruption. He asked whether KCR maintains the same stand on corruption and if yes, then why he is silent on allegations against Malla Reddy.

The Congress leader also demanded that Election Commission take against Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao who intimidated the voters by saying that he would come to know whom they have voted for in the municipal elections. (Ends)

అధికార దుర్వినియోగానికి పాల్పడుతున్న అధికార పార్టీకి చెందిన మంత్రులు మల్లా రెడ్డి, దయాకర్ రావులపై రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆల్ ఇండియా కాంగ్రెస్ కమిటీ జాతీయ అధికార ప్రతినిధి డాక్టర్ దాసోజు శ్రవణ్ డిమాండ్ చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్ లోని గాంధీ భవన్ ఆయన మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు.

అధికారంలో ఉన్న తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సమితి దిగజారుడు రాజకీయాలకు పాల్పడుతోందని ఆరోపించారు. రాజకీయం అంటే పచ్చి పెట్టుబడి వ్యాపారంగా టిఆర్ఎస్ నాయకులు మార్చేశారని ధ్వజమెత్తారు. నిర్లజ్జగా, నిస్సిగ్గుగా ఏ మాత్రం ఇంగితం లేకుండా ఇవ్వాళ నోట్లు వుంటే సీట్లు ఇస్తామని, నోట్లు పెట్టి ఓట్లు వేయించు కుంటామనే దుర్మార్గమైన సంస్కృతికి నాయకులు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారన్నారు. దీనిని తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నామన్నారు.

రెండు రోజుల కిందట టిఆర్ఎస్ కు చెందిన మంత్రి మల్లారెడ్డి, అల్లుడు రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి , భద్రారెడ్డి అనే వ్యక్తితో కలిసి బొమ్మాకు మురళితో సీట్ కోసం 50 లక్షలు ఇవ్వాలంటూ బేరాలాడిన ఆడియో టేపులన్నీ ఇప్పుడు సోషల్ మీడియాలో వైరల్ అవుతున్నాయని దాసోజు వెల్లడించారు. నోట్లతో ఓట్లు కొనుక్కునే సంస్కృతికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టిన ఘనత టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీదేనన్నారు. టికెట్ ఇచ్చే విషయంలో మంత్రి మల్లారెడ్డి డబ్బులు డిమాండ్ చేసిన ఆడియో ను మీడియా సాక్షిగా దాసోజు వినిపించారు.

అలాగే మీరు ఓట్లు ఎవరికి వేస్తారో తెలుస్తుందంటూ ఓటర్లను బెదిరిస్తూ ,  బ్లాక్ మెయిల్ కు మంత్రి ఎర్రబెల్లి దయాకర్ రావు పాల్పడుతున్నారని ఆరోపించారు.

అక్రమాలకు పాల్పడకుండా, డబ్బులు పంచకుండా, మద్యం సరఫరా చేయకుండా టిఆర్ఎస్ గెలిచే పరిస్థితిలో లేదన్న సంగతి మల్లారెడ్డి వ్యవహారంతో బట్టబయలైందన్నారు. ఇది ఎన్నికల అవినీతి కాదా, ఇది రాజకీయ అవినీతి కాదా అని ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నామని అన్నారు.

అక్రమాలకు పాల్పడుతున్న మంత్రి మల్లారెడ్డిని వెంటనే మంత్రివర్గం నుంచి బర్తరఫ్ చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ఈ మొత్తం వ్యవహారంపై బేషరతుగా విచారణ జరిపించాలని, కేసు నమోదు చేయాలని అన్నారు. మోసాలకు, బ్లాక్ మెయిల్ కు పాల్పడుతూ ఓటర్లను ప్రలోభాలకు గురి చేస్తున్నారని ఆరోపించారు.

నోట్లకు సీట్లు అమ్ముకుంటున్న , నీతి మాలిన రాజకీయాలు చేస్తున్న మల్లా రెడ్డి పై , దయాకర్ రావుల పై  ఎన్నికల సంఘం తక్షణమే చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని దాసోజు శ్రవణ్ డిమాండ్ చేశారు. వీరికి వెంటనే నోటీసులు జారీ చేయాలని అన్నారు. ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ సొత్తు గా కాకుండా రాజ్యాంగాన్ని కాపాడే విధంగా నిష్పక్షపాతంగా పనిచేయాలి. సీట్లు అమ్ముకుంటున్న  మల్లారెడ్డి పై ఓటర్లను మీరు ఓటు ఎటు వేస్తారో మాకు తెలుసు అని బెదిరించిన మంత్రి ఎర్రబెల్లి దయాకర్ పై కేసు నమోదు చేసి విచారణ జరిపించాలని రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

సీట్లు ఇవ్వడానికి ఒక్కో టికెట్ కు 50 లక్షల నుంచి కోటి దాకా వసూలు చేస్తున్నట్లు మల్లారెడ్డి ఆడియో టేపుల ద్వారా వెల్లడైందన్నారు. ప్రివెన్షన్ ఆఫ్ కరప్షన్ యాక్ట్ కింద మంత్రి మల్లారెడ్డిపై కేసు నమోదు చేయాలని, సుమోటోగా పోలీసులు, ఏసీబీ విచారణకు స్వీకరించాలని కోరారు.

కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ తరపున ఎసిబి, పోలీసులకు, ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ కు కేసు ఫైల్ చేస్తామన్నారు.

చిన్న చిన్న ఉద్యోగాలు చేసుకుంటూ అవినీతికి పాల్పడితే ఉద్యోగులను జైళ్లకు పంపిస్తున్న ప్రభుత్వం మరి తన మంత్రివర్గంలో ఉన్న మంత్రి డబ్బులు వసూళ్లకు పాల్పడుతుంటే ఎందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకోవడం లేదని నిలదీశారు. అవినీతి ఆరోపణలు వస్తే తన స్వంత కొడుకునైనా ఉపేక్షించనన్న సీఎం ఇప్పుడు ఏం మాట్లాడతారంటూ ప్రశ్నించారు. గతంలో మంత్రి పదవి కోసం మల్లారెడ్డి డబ్బులు ఇచ్చినట్లు ఆరోపణలు కూడా వచ్చాయన్నారు. మంత్రులు మల్లారెడ్డి, ఎర్రబెల్లి దయాకర్ రావులపై ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్ నాగిరెడ్డి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని దాసోజు  శ్రవణ్ డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

Congress suspects 'quid pro quo' in Somesh Kumar's appointment as Chief Secretary

Hyderabad, January 3: All India Congress Committee (AICC) National Spokesperson Dr. Dasoju Sravan has alleged that the appointment of IAS officer Somesh Kumar as Chief Secretary of Government of Telangana was irregular and done in total violation of rules. He expressed suspicion that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar might have elevated Somesh Kumar to the top post due to 'quid pro quo' arrangement.

 Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Sravan said that Somesh Kumar, a 1989 batch officer, was made the Chief Secretary by superseding 15 others senior IAS officers. They include  BP Acharya (of 1983 Batch); Ajay Mishra (1984) ; Suresh Chanda, Chitra Ramachandran, Pushpa Subramanyam and Hiralal Samariya (now with GoI) of 1985 Batch; Rajeshwar Tewari (1986); RR Mishra and Vasudha Mishra (GoI) of 1987; Aadhar Sinha, Shalini Mishra and Sri Lakshmi (1988); Rani Kumudini (GoI) of 1988 and Shanti Kumari (1989).

Sravan said all set precedents, norms and rules pertaining to promotion of IAS officials have been violated. He suspected the appointment to be 'quid pro quo' as Somesh Kumar, as the then Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has allegedly helped TRS win municipal elections in February 2016. There were allegations of deletion of more than 15 lakh voters, inclusion of fake voters, reorganisation and reservation of wards in a partisan manner and other irregularities. He said that the Congress party had lodged a strong protest against the discrepancies and irregularities committed while Somesh Kumar was heading the GHMC as its Commissioner. However, he said electoral processes were manipulated to ensure victory of TRS party in GHMC elections. The appointment of Somesh Kumar as Chief Secretary indicates that those allegations might be true.

The AICC Spokesperson said CM KCR appointed Somesh Kumar on the top post despite the fact that he belongs to Andhra cadre. He said it was unfair on the part of KCR to neglect Telangana cadre officials to favour an Andhra cadre IAS officer. He said the move would demoralise all other officials and they would find it difficult to work under their junior. He alleged that KCR was completely neglecting the Telangana cadre officers and they were not being appointed on key posts. As per the Andhra Pradesh Reorgansisation Act, Somesh Kumar should have been sent to residuary State. However, he secured a stay from Central Administration Tribunal and continued his services in Telangana.

He said Chief Minister had contended that Somesh Kumar’s would bring stability in governance as he will be in service till December 31, 2023. He asked as to how KCR could assign the post of State's Chief Secretary to an official who is serving on the basis of CAT stay. Will it not cause instability if the CAT vacates the stay? he asked.

Sravan said that KCR has the prerogative to appoint anyone on political posts. However, he said that the Chief Minister should not politicise the Executive by mending rules to favour certain IAS/IPS officials.
 

He also alleged that the Chief Minister's Office has turned out to be an asylum for 'Retired AIS officers'. As many as eight retired IAS, IPS officials are serving as Advisors to Telangana Government. While former Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma is the Chief Advisor, seven other officials have been appointed as Advisors immediately after their retirement. They include G.R. Reddy, Bhupal Reddy, Narsing Rao, A.K. Khan, Anurag Sharma and now the latest Dr. S.K. Joshi. KCR is giving a silent message that he could benefit his favoured officers even after their retirement by appointing them as Advisors to State Government if they listen to his dictates during service.

గతంలో జిహెచ్ఎంసి ఎన్నికలు జరిగినప్పుడు సోమేశ్ కుమార్ కమిషనర్ గా పని చేసిన సందర్భంలో దాదాపు 15 లక్షల మంది అర్హులైన వారు ఓటు హక్కును కోల్పోయారని . చాలా మంది అర్హత లేనటువంటి వ్యక్తులు, దొంగ ఓటర్లు లక్షలాదిగా నమోదు చేయబడ్డారని కూడా ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి .

సోమేశ్ కుమార్ కమిషనర్ గా ఉన్న కాలంలో ఎలాగైనా సరే టిఆర్ఎస్ ను గెలిపించాలనే కుట్ర జరిగిందని ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయని గుర్తుచేశారు,  ఆయన పూర్తిగా అధికార పార్టీకి మద్దతుగా నిలిచారని ఎన్నికల నియమావళి ఉల్లంఘిస్తూ తెరాస ప్రభుత్వ పథకాల ప్రచారం చేశారని  ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి . అలాగే  టిఆర్ఎస్ విజయానికి తన వంతుగా సహకారం అందించారని  విమర్శలు ఉన్నాయి,

తెలంగాణాలో సీనియర్ ఐఏఎస్ అధికారులు ఎందరో రేసులో ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఆంధ్రా కేడర్ కు చెందిన సోమేశ్ కుమార్ ను సీఎస్ గా అప్పగించడం దారుణమన్నారు.  ఆయన వాస్తవంగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కు వెళ్ళవలసి ఉండగా రకరకాల ప్రయత్నాల ద్వారా సెంట్రల్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేటివ్ ట్రిబ్యునల్ ( క్యాట్) నుండి స్టే తెచ్చుకొని తెలంగాణలో కొనసాగుతున్నారు అని అన్నారు.  సోమేశ్ కుమార్ నాలుగేళ్ల సర్వీస్ ఉందని నిలకడ ఉన్నటువంటి పరిపాలన అందిస్తాడని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అన్నారని కానీ  ప్రతేకమైన క్యాట్ ఇచ్చిన స్టే ఎత్తి వేస్తే సోమేశ్ కుమార్ తిరిగి ఆంధ్రకు వెళ్లాల్సి వస్తుందనిన్నారు. అప్పుడు ముఖ్యమంత్రి అన్నట్లు నిలకడ ఉన్నటువంటి పరిపాలన ఎలా సాధ్యమని ప్రశ్నించారు .

సోమేశ్ ఉంటే మెరుగైన పాలన అందిస్తారని ఎంపిక చేశామంటూ సీఎం చెప్పడం దారుణమన్నారు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంలో పని చేసే సమర్థత కలిగిన తెలంగాణ కేడర్ ఐఏఎస్ లు ఎందరో ఉన్నారని, వీరు తెలంగాణ సీఎస్ పోస్టుకు పనికి రారా అని దాసోజు ప్రశ్నించారు.

ఒక ఎమ్మెల్యే జీవిత కాలంలో మంత్రిగానో లేదా సీఎం కావాలని అనుకున్నట్లే ఐఏఎస్ అధికారులు కూడా సీఎస్ కావాలని అనుకుంటారని అన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే దాదాపు 12 మంది కొత్త గా సెలెక్ట్ అయిన ఐఏఎస్ అధికారులు పోస్టింగుల కోసం వెయిట్ చేస్తున్నారని అన్నారు. రిటైర్డ్ అయిన అధికారులను కొనసాగీస్తూ పాలనను భ్రష్టు పట్టించారని దాసోజు ధ్వజమెత్తారు.

తెరాస నాయకుల ప్రాబల్యం కలిగిన వారే సీఎంఓలో తిష్ట వేశారంటూ ఆరోపించారు. తోలు బొమ్మల్లాగా తలూపుతూ పని చేసే వారు, డూడూ బసవన్నలకు ప్రధాన పోస్టులను అప్పగించారని దాసోజు విమర్శించారు. దీని వల్ల మంచి పరిపాలన లభించదన్నారు. ప్రతి దానికి స్పందించే ఐఏఎస్ ఆఫీసర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ సోమేశ్ కుమార్ నియామకంపై నోరు మెదపడం లేదు ఎందుకని దాసోజు ప్రశ్నించారు. ఇప్పటికే ఆయనపై క్యాట్ లో కేసు నడుస్తోందన్నారు. సీనియర్లు, జూనియర్ ఐఏఎస్ ఆఫీసర్స్ మధ్య భేదాభిప్రాయాలు నెలకొనే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు. దీంతో పాలనా పరమైన ఇబ్బందులు ఏర్పడుతాయని, మొత్తంగా సీఎం కేసీఆర్ విభజించు పాలించు అన్న రీతిలో వ్యవహరిస్తున్నాడని శ్రవణ్ మండిపడ్డారు.

ఎందరో అధికారులు సీఎస్ పదవికి అర్హులైనా వారందరిని కాదని, వారి సీనియారిటీని పక్కన పెట్టి సీఎం సోమేశ్ కుమార్ కు పదవి కట్టబెట్టడం అధికార దుర్వినియోగాన్ని సూచిస్తోందన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే రాష్ట్రంలో పాలనా పడకేసిందని, జనం సమస్యలను పట్టించుకునే  స్థితిలో అధికారులు లేకుండా పోయారన్నారు. సీఎస్ ఎంపిక విషయంలో సీనియారిటీ, సమర్థత, అనుభవం, స్వభావాన్ని పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోకుండానే సోమేశ్ కు పదవి కట్టబెట్టారని అన్నారు. సీనియారిటీ పరంగా చూస్తే సీఎస్ రేసులో తెలంగాణ కేడర్కు చెందిన 1983 బ్యాచ్ అధికారులు బీపీ ఆచార్య, బినయ్కుమార్, 1984 బ్యాచ్ అధికారి అజయ్ మిశ్రా, 1985 బ్యాచ్ అధికారిణి పుష్పా సుబ్రమణ్యం, 1986 బ్యాచ్ అధికారులు సురేశ్ చందా, చిత్రా రామచంద్రన్, హీరాలాల్ సమారియా, రాజేశ్వర్ తివారి ఉండగా, ఇక 1987 బ్యాచ్ అధికారులు రాజీవ్ రంజన్ మిశ్రా, వసుధా మిశ్రా, 1988 బ్యాచ్ అధికారులు శాలిని మిశ్రా, ఆధర్ సిన్హా ఉండగా వీరిని కాదని వీరిని కాదని సోమేశ్ కుమార్ ను ఎంపిక చేశారని అన్నారు. 1989 బ్యాచ్ కు చెందిన సోమేశ్ కుమార్ కు సీఎస్ పదవి కట్టబెట్టారంటూ ఆరోపించారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో ఏఐసిసి ఆదివాసీ విభాగం వైస్ చైర్మన్ బెల్లయ్య నాయక్, టిపిసిసి ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కైలాష్, అధికార ప్రతినిధి సత్యం శ్రీరంగం పాల్గొన్నారు.

 తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సమితి, ఎంఐఎం పార్టీల అధినేతలు చెప్పినట్లు నడుచుకుంటూ ఇతరులను ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేస్తున్నాడని మండి పడ్డారు. కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ఈ దేశంలో గణనీయమైన చరిత్ర ఉన్నది. అది ప్రజల కోసమే పని చేస్తోంది. తమ పార్టీ తీవ్రవాద సంస్థ కాదని సీపీ గుర్తుంచు కోవాలి. కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కోసం స్వచ్ఛందంగా పనిచేస్తున్న కార్యకర్తలు ఉన్నారు. ఈ బలగం కోట్లాది మందితో కూడుకుని ఉన్నది. వీలు టెర్రరిస్టులు కారు. సభ్య సమాజంలో బాధ్యత కలిగిన పౌరులు. హైదరాబాద్ నగర వీధుల్లో మా పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు ఎలాంటి ఆయుధాలు ధరించి తిరగడం లేదన్నారు. సిటీ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ అంజనీ కుమార్ ఆర్ ఎస్ ఎస్ మార్చ్ కు, ఎంఐఎం పబ్లిక్ మీటింగ్ కు ఎలా పర్మిషన్ ఇచ్చారని శ్రవణ్ నిలదీశారు.

దీనికి సీపీ ఏమని సమాధానం చెబుతారని ప్రశ్నించారు. వీరికి అనుమతి ఇచ్చిన సీపీ జాతీయ పార్టీ అయిన కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ఎందుకు అనుమతి రద్దు చేశారో చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. తమ పార్టీ జాతికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఎలాంటి ప్రదర్శన చేపట్టాలని నిర్ణయించ లేదు. గాంధీ భవన్ నుంచి ట్యాంక్ బండ్ వద్ద ఉన్న అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహం వరకు శాంతి ర్యాలీ చేపడతామని చెప్పింది. అయినా యేవో కుంతీ సాకులు చెబుతూ సీపీ అనుమతి నిరాకరించడం ఎంత వరకు సబబు. వందలాది మంది కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలను సీపీ అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. దీనిని టీపీసీసీ ప్రెసిడెంట్ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి ఖండించారు. ఇది పూర్తిగా ప్రజాస్వామ్య విరుద్ధం. శాంతియుత ర్యాలీకి సీపీ పర్మిషన్ ఇవ్వక పోవడంతో గాంధీ భవన్ లోనే సత్యాగ్రహ దీక్షను చేపట్టడం జరిగిందన్నారు శ్రవణ్.

కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ వేలాదిగా ర్యాలీలు శాంతియుతంగా నిర్వహించింది. అంతే కాదు వందలాది సమావేశాలు కూడా సక్సెస్ చేసిన చరిత్ర తమ పార్టీకి ఉందన్నారు. అంతే కాదు హైదరాబాద్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రెసిడెంట్ , మాజీ ఎంపీ అంజాన్ కుమార్ యాదవ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో వేలాది మందితో గాంధీ జయంతి   అక్టోబర్ 2 రోజు చార్మినార్ నుంచి గాంధీ భవన్ వరకు ర్యాలీ చేపట్టారన్నారు. సేవ్ ఇండియా సేవ్ కాన్స్టిట్యూషన్ పేరుతో చేపట్టాలని అనుకున్న ర్యాలీ కి సీపీ అనుమతి ఇవ్వలేదన్నారు. పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు, నేతల పట్ల సీపీ కక్ష సాధింపు ధోరణితో వ్యవహరిస్తున్నాడని ఆరోపించారు. సీపీపై ఇప్పటికే ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి సీరియస్ అయ్యారని చెప్పారు. సత్యాగ్రహ దీక్ష సమయంలో సీపీ తీరుపై గవర్నర్ కు ఫిర్యాదు చేయనున్నట్లు తెలిపారన్నారు.

తలసాని తల తోక లేకుండా మాట్లాడుతున్నారని అన్నారు. ఉత్తమ్ పై కామెంట్స్ చేసే స్థాయికి ఇంకా ఎదగలేదన్నారు. ఇండియన్ ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్ లో నిబద్దత కలిగిన పైలట్ గా పని చేసిన చరిత్ర ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి దన్నారు. దేశ సరిహద్దుల్లో ప్రాణాలకు తెగించి ఉద్యోగాన్ని నిర్వహించారని, మరి తలసాని ఏం చేశారో చెప్పాలన్నారు. తన జీవితాన్ని పణంగా పెట్టారన్నారు. భారత రాజ్యాంగం ప్రకారం ఉత్తమ్ సిట్టింగ్ ఎంపీ అన్న విషయం మరిచి పోయి నిరాధారమైన కామెంట్స్ చేశారని ఆరోపించారు. అంతే కాదు జాతీయ పార్టీ పరంగా రాష్ట్ర పార్టీకి ఆయన ప్రస్తుతం ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా ఉన్నారన్న సోయి లేకపోతే ఎలా అన్నారు. తెలంగాణ లోని ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి తెలుసు తలసాని చరిత్ర ఏమిటో. ఆయన పదవి కోసం పార్టీ మారారు.

అంతే కాదు తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా పని చేశారు. ఆయనకు మాట్లాడే హక్కు లేదన్నారు శ్రవణ్. టీడీపీలో ఉన్నప్పుడు కేసీఆర్ ను అనరాని మాటలను అనలేదా అన్నారు. ఇప్పుడు పదవి దక్కాక కేసీఆర్ ను పొగడటం చేస్తున్నాడని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. ఇదే సమయంలో అంజనీ కుమార్ కు ఇక్కడ ఏం పని అని మరోసారి నిలదీశారు. ఆంధ్రాకు చెందిన ఈ ఐపీఎస్ కు ఇంకా తెలంగాణాలో ఉండటం అవసరమా అని ప్రశ్నించారు. కేవలం అధికార పార్టీకి తొత్తుగా, నేతలకు అడుగులు మడుగులు ఒత్తుతూ వారు చెప్పినట్లు ఆడుతూ అధికార దుర్వినియోగానికి పాల్పడుతున్నాడని ఆరోపించారు.

ఐపీఎస్ ఆఫీసర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ మాట్లాడిన తీరు పై స్పందించారు. నిబద్దతతో పని చేసిన ఐపీఎస్ లు ఉన్నారు. వారిని తమ పార్టీ అనడం లేదు. తల మీద టోపీ ధరించడం అంటే ఆడో గొప్ప గౌరవంగా భావించాలి. కానీ ప్రస్తుతం తెలంగాణాలో ఐపీఎస్ లు, ఐఏఎస్ లు ఎస్ బాస్ అంటూ ఉన్నారని ఆరోపించారు. కింది స్థాయి కాన్స్టిబుల్ నుంచి ఎసై, సీఐ, డిఎస్పీ లదాకా టిఆర్ఎస్ ఎంపీలు, మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు చెప్పిన వారికే ఇస్తున్నారని ధ్వజమెత్తారు. మరి దీనికి పోలీస్ బాస్ ఏం సమాధానం చెబుతారని అన్నారు. ఎందుకు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ర్యాలీ ని ఎందుకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వలేదో బేషరతుగా ప్రజలకు చెప్పాలన్నారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో అంజాన్ కుమార్ యాదవ్, ప్రేమ్ లాల్, తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Hyderabad, December 30: All India Congress Committee (AICC) National Spokesperson Dr. Dasoju Sravan has reiterated the allegation that Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar was behaving like a puppet into the hands of TRS and MIM.

"Congress party is not an extremist organisation and its workers are not terrorists. We were not roaming on the streets of Hyderabad holding weapons. When the Police Commissioner could permit RSS march and MIM public meeting, why he denied permission to the Congress party to conduct a peaceful rally from Gandhi Bhavan to Ambedkar Statue at Tank Bund," Sravan said while addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday.

Sravan said as saying goes 'Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Dante' (the pot is calling the kettle black), the Police Commissioner spoke in a rude manner when TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy sought a clarification for denial of permission and arrest of thousands of Congress workers who were proceeding to the party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan to participate in a peaceful Satyagraha. He said Congress party has conducted hundreds of rallies and meeting and all of them were totally peaceful. He reminded that Hyderabad Congress president Anjan Kumar Yadav took out a rally from Charminar to Gandhi Bhavan on Mahatma Gandhi's Jayanti on October 2. However, the Police Commissioner specifically denied permission for the 'Save India, Save Constitution' rally which was aimed at opposing anti-Constitutional Citizenship Amendment Act and proposed NRC. This was done at the instance of ruling TRS party. Angred by the partisan behaviour of the Police Commissioner, Uttam Kumar Reddy strongly condemned his actions while addressing the Satyagraha.

The Congress leader also condemned Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav for his reaction on the issue. He said Talasani had no stature or calibre to comment anything on the PCC president. "Uttam Kumar Reddy is a former fighter pilot of Indian Air Force and had served the nation for several years by risking his life on the borders. He is a sitting MP and enjoys certain privileges and rights as per the Constitution. He is also the State President of a national party. Everyone knows that Talasani had opposed Telangana movement and even ridiculed people's sentiments. He made severe remarks against KCR while he was with TDP and today he is praising him. He should remain silent instead of trying to intervene in this issue," he said.

Sravan also questioned as to why Anjani Kumar, who belongs to Andhra cadre, was still serving in Telangana State. He alleged that Anjani Kumar was continuing on the post only because he has been serving the ruling party leaders and acting as per their directions.

Responding to the reaction of IPS Officers Association on the issue, Sravan said that the peak cap of IPS officers carries the national emblem as it signifies proud and honour. The IPS officers are expected to act as per the law and Constitution. However, he said some IPS officers in Telangana have been serving as 'slaves' of TRS leaders. He said postings for DSP, CI, SI and other posts are being given based on the recommendations of TRS MPs and MLAs. He said the IPS officers should introspect their behaviour and start working as per the Constitution.

Accusing Anjani Kumar of acting like a puppet into the hands of TRS and MIM, he asked the Police Commissioner to clarify as to why he denied permission for Congress rally, arrested thousands of Congress workers and spoke to TPCC President in a rude manner when he questioned his partisan behaviour.

Hyderabad, October 25: All India Congress Committee (AICC) National Spokesperson Dr. Dasoju Sravan on Friday demanded that the State Government order a probe by a sitting judge of HIgh court on the income, losses, assets, liabilities and other aspects of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC).

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Sravan strongly condemned Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for his statement on the RTC, its employees, their unions and the ongoing strike. He said that the State Government should release a White Paper on the assets and liabilities of RTC. While the Chief Minister claimed that the State Government has spent Rs. 4,250 crore on RTC, the unions argue that the amount was only Rs. 702 crore. He said this contradiction could be cleared only if the matter is probed by a sitting judge of High Court.

The Congress leader said that victory and defeat were part and parcel of electoral democracy. However, he said that the arrogance with which KCR addressed a press conference after TRS won Huzurngar bye-elections on Thursday was highly condemnable. He said victory of ruling party on a seat in a bye-election could not be considered an endorsement of KCR's dictatorial policies. He alleged that the TRS won the elections by misusing official machinery and distributing huge cash and liquor.

Sravan said before advising the opposition parties, KCR should do a serious introspection of his own behaviour. He said the culture of purchasing legislators of opposition parties like livestock was started by KCR. Referring to KCR's displeasure and criticism on RTC strike and union leaders, he reminded that it was the KCR himself who launched Telangana Mazdoor Union and made Harish Rao its Honorary President. He said union leaders Ashwathama Reddy and Thomas were groomed by KCR and used during the statehood movement. He said that the Chief Minister was now criticising the same leaders after his purpose is solved.

The Congress leader said that all employees and workers belonging to all sectors have a Constitutional right to form their union. He said if it was wrong for employees to associate themselves with unions, then why the Chief Minister held talks with representatives of TGOs and TNGOs. He also dismissed KCR's contention that unions were going on strike before every election. He said that the Chief Minister has already decided to privatise the RTC and now trying to blame the union leaders and workers for the same. He alleged that the Chief Minister has hatched a conspiracy to privatise RTC to get control over its invaluable assets of TSRTC.

Sravan ridiculed KCR's claim that he was an authority on RTC and he had brought the corporation from losses to profits during his tenure as Transport Minister in the united Andhra Pradesh. He said if KCR's claim was true then why he did not turn RTC into a profitable institution during the last five years and why is he now trying to privatise citing debts and losses. He said KCR's language, tone and gestures while speaking about union leaders does not suit the stature of a Chief Minister. He asked media persons to justify whether a Chief Minister was authorised to speak about union leaders in such derogatory language. He said it was common for union leaders to target the persons holding an authority during agitations.

He reminded that KCR had criticised UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and the then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh during statehood movement and even called them as 'Devil' and 'Attender'. He said despite those remarks, Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh were generous enough to call KCR for talks. However, he said KCR was reluctant to call union leaders for talks to resolve the issue.

The AICC Spokesperson said that the Chief Minister was disobeying the orders of the High Court on payment of September month salaries to RTC employees. He even asked whether court would beat him if government was unable to pay salaries. He said KCR's action and comments amounts to contempt of court and disrespect for judiciary.

He warned that if KCR continues with his arrogant behaviour, then he would meet the same fate as of MIM leader Qasim Razvi. He said it was strange that KCR, who always praises the Nizam wants to shut down the RTC, which was started during the reign of Mir Osman Ali Khan. He said the State Government has closed down Nizam Sugar Factory in a similar although its revival was among major electoral promises of TRS.
